The jackpot for Saturdays draw was a staggering $42.4 million and that will now rise to an estimated $50 million for Wednesdays draw.
The Powerball numbers for Saturday nights draw were 3, 7, 8, 12 and 44 the Powerball was 37. With no players matching all five numbers and the Powerball the jackpot for the draw to be held on Wednesday 19th November 2008 will now be an estimated $50 million.
Although there were no main winners in Saturdays draw there were still some quite substantial amounts of cash won. Six lucky players matched all five numbers without the Powerball and they will each win $200,000. Two of those tickets were sold in Indiana, with one in Kentucky, North Carolina, Nebraska and Oklahoma.
