So far, Powerball Lottery officials have not released much information about the winner, only to say that the winning ticket was sold in the state of Minnesota. Tax levels in that area will denote how much the winner receives, but if they take the lump sum payment, the winner will be looking at over $120 million before taxes. Let’s hope this Powerball winner claims quickly, the last winner is still yet to come forward and the previous $77 million jackpot is still sitting in Powerball offices.
The next Powerball draw will be held at the weekend, on Saturday evening, and after last night’s single jackpot winner, Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is expected to be around $20 million.
