These Powerball results show that the number 23 was drawn and this has appeared 30 times since January 2009 when the number matrix changed from 5/54 to 5/59. In addition to that the Powerball number drawn out was 13 which has appeared just six times since 2009.
Nine lucky players - although were just one number away from winning the jackpot in Saturday night’s draw did manage to win the second tier amount of $200,000 by matching up all five of the main numbers drawn. Also $10,000 – which you have to match four plus the Powerball to win was scooped up by 73 players.
This is the tenth rollover for the Powerball – something that hasn’t been seen this year for a few months. In August the Powerball jackpot climbed up to the highest amount witnessed this year – an impressive $228.9 after it rolled over 11 times.
