4th February 2010 11:35 AM
Many of the midweek world lottery draws went off last night and there were millions up for grabs in lottery jackpot. One of those, the Powerball Lottery hits $140 million now as no winners in last night’s midweek lottery draw creates yet another rollover. The winning numbers in last night’s Powerball Lottery draw were 17 – 22 – 36 – 37 – 52. Powerball 24, yet despite high ticket sales for the draw, no winning tickets matched all the winning numbers.
As the Powerball Lottery hits $140 million, that makes it one of the biggest available anywhere in the world right now and that fact will no doubt make ticket sales high for the next draw on Saturday evening, 6th February.
Despite having no jackpot winners in last night’s Powerball Lottery draw there were plenty of lower tier prizes, over 1 million in fact, paying out millions of dollars in prize money.
While we’re on the subject of rollover lottery draws, Tuesday night’s Mega Millions Lottery draw also produced no winners and that pushes Friday night’s jackpot up to $20 million. It’s nowhere near the level of the Powerball but certainly not to be sniffed at.
