Powerball Jackpot not claimed

It had climbed to over $200 million, before one lottery player from Indiana scooped the entire $221 million Powerball Lottery jackpot. However, the Powerball jackpot is still not claimed, and now lottery officials are appealing for the winner to come forward. The draw was well publicised, and ticket sales were brisk, with an increase in the estimated jackpot at the very last moment, yet despite the media interest no winner has stepped forward to collect the prize.
The ticket was sold in the state of Indiana, for the Powerball Lottery draw last Wednesday. The winning numbers in the draw were 10 – 18 – 41 – 55 – 56 and the Powerball was 15. If there are any US lottery players out there who played those numbers, it’s time to check the Powerball Lottery results right now.
Once the winner comes forward, they will need to decide whether to take the Powerball Lottery win as a lump sum, or 30 annuity payments. As a lump sum, the win will be worth a massive $117 million, and over 30 years they would collect over $7 million every year.
The win means that both the big multi-state lottery draws, the Mega Millions and Powerball Lottery have rather modest jackpots this week. Tuesday’s Mega Millions is just reaching the $50 million mark, and tonight the Powerball Lottery jackpot is an estimated $20 million. If you are a regular player of the Powerball Lottery, and buy lottery tickets in the Indiana area, then do check those lottery tickets now, or you could miss out on this life-changing lottery win.
