Poker Lotto at the OLG

Lotto MaxThe company who run the Canadian Lottery, the OLG have just launched a brand new instant win Quick Picks scratch off based around the popular game of Poker. Poker Lotto at the OLG is played with a standard 52 deck, replacing lotto numbers with playing cards and giving away prizes in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. Each ticket costs $2 and for that ticket price you get two chances to win with overall odds of winning a prize set at 1 in 4.8. The first game is a traditional scratch off with the second more like a lottery draw.

In the first game available in Poker Lotto with the OLG, just scratch off the panels and see if you can make traditional Poker hands, a royal flush will earn you $5,000 on the game and then onto Game 2, that is more like a lottery draw. Instead of lottery balls, playing cards will be drawn from a traditional set of 52, match two numbers for a $5 prize and watch those prizes increase the more playing cards you match, match all five and you’ll win $100,000 with the OLG.

In other news from the OLG, last night’s Lotto Max Canada is a rollover. In last night’s draw, no one matched all seven winning balls to scoop the $15 million and that means next Friday’s draw is a estimated $23 million!

Before that is the Lotto 6/49 Canada draw tonight, that jackpot is an estimated $3.5 million. Not quite as high as next week’s Lotto Max Canada but still worth buying lottery tickets for.
