One Winner Takes Mega Millions Jackpot

Friday night’s rollover multistate Mega Millions draw was worth a staggering $42 million, the whole jackpot was won by a single ticket meaning one winner takes the Mega Millions Jackpot. It’s an astounding amount and surely the winner from Michigan, USA will be in shock this morning as they take the news in of their massive fortune.
The winning numbers of last night’s rollover Mega Millions draw were 13, 28, 32, 41 and 52 the Mega Ball number was 16.
The winning ticket was sold in a liquor store in Detroit, Michigan and was the first big win for the store. The store’s owner could hardly believe his ears this weekend when he heard the news of the massive win. Although the one winner of the Mega Millions Jackpot has not yet come forward and made himself known to lottery officials, Mr DiMaria who has run the liquor store for the last 40 years says a gentleman came into the store yesterday morning and informed him he had sold the winning ticket.
In addition the this massive $42 million win several tickets matched smaller prizes, with five players from across other US states receiving $250,000 and 29 lucky players winning $10,000.
The next Mega Millions draw will be on Tuesday and the jackpot is estimated at $12 million. Mega Millions is the US State lottery, draws are held twice weekly on Tuesday and Friday evenings. Jackpots often roll over with the biggest jackpot in it’s history being $390 shared by two winners in March 2007, this was also a world record lottery amount and has yet to be beaten.
