No Winning Ticket for Mega Millions

Mega Millions There was no winning ticket for the Mega Millions draw on Tuesday 26th August 2008 making yet another rollover, pushing the estimated jackpot for Friday up to a staggering $132 million.

 

No ticket in any of the participating US states matched all six numbers for the draw held on Tuesday night, the numbers drawn were 06-16-24-34-36 and the Mega number was 30. The draw jackpot was $114 million which will now rollover to Fridays draw.
 
Several tickets matched all five numbers without the Mega number, each win $245,771. Four matching numbers and the Mega number paid $4,787.

There are 9 different ways to win a prize in the Mega Millions draw but to win the jackpot you must match all five numbers plus the Mega number, there were no winning tickets for Mega Millions draw on Tuesday night as no players matched all the numbers.

The biggest ever Mega Millions jackpot was a heart attack-inducing $390 million and this one still has a long way to go before it reaches that record breaking amount. The Mega Millions is a multi state lottery and twelve main states of America participate, it has seen many huge jackpots since its launch in August 1996 but none as big as the $390 million shared by two players in the draw held in March 2007.
