The California Lottery ‘Big Spin’ television game show has been running for almost twenty four years but now they feel it's time for a change so there is a new game show for the California lottery and when it’s launched, lottery officials hope it will be more attractive to viewers than the old format. ‘Make me a Millionaire’ is a four part show and will be launched on Saturday 17th January at 6.55pm in the same time slot as the original Big Spin Show.
So the time slot hasn’t changed but the show certainly has, California Lottery officials feels that after twenty four years the format of ‘The Big Spin’ has become a little dated, as game shows are offering bigger prizes and better formats since the shows launch back in 1985.

‘Make me a Millionaire’ will feature twelve contestants each week who will participate in the four part show, the show will be made up of the games, Lucky Penny, Safe Cracker, California Cool and Make me a Millionaire.
To qualify for the show California Lottery players will need to purchase the ‘Make me a Millionaire’ scratch cards, scratch cards with the words TV show three times on will win the holder qualification to the show.
It’s an exciting new venture for the lottery and a great idea on their part to tie qualification to a scratch card. Those in the viewing area might want to tune in as it looks like a very exciting new show.
