In the UK this weekend, lottery players had a real treat, as both Friday’s Euromillions and Saturday’s UK Lotto boasted inflated rollover jackpots. Well, on Friday the Euromillions Lottery rolled again and is heading for £64 million, but the surprise of the weekend came from the Lottery results, and as the National Lottery jackpot heads for £10 million in a double rollover, the whole nation is now looking to the midweek for the chance at a bumper jackpot.

It’s the biggest National Lottery jackpot since 16th April 2011, when four players shared a £16 million double rollover jackpot. However if a single lottery player wins the double rollover jackpot, this National Lottery rollover jackpot would be the biggest win by a single player since 9th March, when lorry driver Matthew Breach scooped a £17.8 million triple rollover jackpot on the lottery.
Mr Breach swore the money wouldn’t change him, we wonder if it has? Would this £9.7 million double rollover jackpot change you? It’s certainly an exciting time to be a UK lottery player, with the National Lottery and Euromillions offering big jackpots this week.
In other UK lottery news, a £600,000 Euromillions ticket sold in Barnet for the 5th August Euromillions draw is still unclaimed. The ticket matched five main balls and one Lucky Star in the draw but the winner hasn’t come forward.
If you’re buying lottery tickets for the Euromillions, or National Lottery rollovers this week, make sure you keep your lottery tickets in safe place and check the lottery results after the draw. Alternatively, buy lottery tickets online, and you can buy tickets, check results and cash any winnings in with just a few clicks!
