One lucky winner scooped the $46 million Mega Millions Lottery Jackpot in the US multistate lottery last Friday night yet the Mega Millions Winner is yet to come forward and claim their winnings. The winning numbers in the Mega Millions draw held on Friday 2nd January 2009 were 2, 11, 19, 21, 34 and the Mega Ball was 38. The one lucky winner is from Pacific Beach and the ticket was bought in the local 7-eleven, on Cass street.
The owner of the store where the ticket was bought will receive a bonus payment of $230,000 which equates to half a percent of the jackpot total. Not bad for a days work, I’m sure you’ll agree.
Two players also matched five main numbers without the Mega Ball and each of those players will walk away with $250,000. Another 35 players matched four numbers and the Mega Ball each scooping $10,000.
