After the big push on ticket sales for the $325 million Mega Millions jackpot yesterday it’s been won! No one knows yet how many winners or who they are as the lottery have not released the details but if you had tickets in yesterdays draw the big question on everyone's lips is Mega Millions, was it you? It's time to check those lucky lottery numbers and see if you were a Mega Millions Lottery winner.
Whoever it was will surely be celebrating this morning, after all in the event that estimated jackpot hit $333 million and was the second highest jackpot ever seen in the multi-state Mega Millions Lottery.
The winning numbers in last night’s draw were 1 – 17 – 31 – 37 and 54, the Mega ball was 31. So if you did buy tickets from our world lottery pages yesterday then it’s time to check those tickets carefully and see if you were the lucky Mega Millions Lottery winner.
Mega Millions it certainly was, with the expected jackpot pushed even higher by players rushing to buy lottery tickets in hope of winning the bumper jackpot. Even after taxes this win is worth over $210 million if the winner chooses to take a lump sum, an absolutely life-changing amount of money I’m sure you’ll agree.
Whether it was a single winner, or more winning tickets shared we don’t yet know but we will try and bring you news of the lottery jackpot winner as soon as we have it.
In other news, the Euromillions, Europe-wide lottery was also drawn last night and the winning numbers in that draw were 8 – 36 – 37 – 41 and 49. The lucky stars were 5 and 7. No winning tickets matched all the winning numbers and the jackpot for that draw will now roll over for next Friday.
