Mega Millions and Powerball join forces

Lottery DrawsOver the last few weeks we’ve brought you many stories about various US states joining either the Powerball Lottery or Mega Millions Lottery. This trend began last year as the first few states starting cross selling lottery tickets and now the Mega Millions and Powerball join forces in even more US states the country becomes one step closer to being a National Lottery.

Up until now, states have been separated by those selling Powerball Lottery tickets and those selling Mega Millions Lottery tickets but from Sunday absolutely dozens of states across the US will begin selling tickets for both lotteries.

This move will prevent players from having to cross state lines to buy tickets for both the Powerball Lottery and the Mega Millions Lottery and is expected to create even larger jackpots than the ones seen now.

If both tickets are sold in every state it will effectively leave both lottery companies attempting to come out on top and become the big American State Lottery.

Powerball Lottery drawings are Wednesday and Saturday evenings and Mega Millions Lottery drawings are Tuesday and Friday evenings and that is going to give US lottery players plenty to play for as the two lotteries join forces and offer tickets in the same states.

By the time this move is complete, each of the two biggest lotteries in the US will be selling tickets in a massive forty-three states and that move is likely to make jackpots grow at an astounding speed when rollovers occur.
