Maxmillions again for Lotto Max

It seems there’s no keeping the Canada Lotto Max down right now, even jackpot winners. The unique way that the lottery draw is played means that just now, even jackpot wins can’t bring the jackpot down to base amount and that means after last night’s draw it’s Maxmillions again for Lotto Max. It was only a couple of weeks ago we saw a $50 million jackpot and 45 Maxmillions draws and although that $50 million was shared by two players, many of the Maxmillions were not won, keeping that jackpot high.
The fact that the jackpot was won but many of the Maxmillions rolled meant that a jackpot that should have been reset to $20 million was more like $35 million, all it then took was a couple of rollovers and suddenly the Lotto Max Canada has over $50 million up for grabs.
Last night’s Lotto Max Canada was worth over $46 million so it was inevitable that without a winner, the lottery was going to smash the $50 million ceiling. Next week the estimated prize pool is $60 million, an amount that will be broken up into a $50 million jackpot and ten Maxmillions draws, each with an individual prize.
Of course that does lead back to initial situation where even if the main Lotto Max Canada jackpot is won, many of the Maxmillions may roll over. It means the Lotto Max Canada is rarely out of the World Lottery news at the moment and rightly so with jackpots like this on offer.
