Lucky Briton Scoops Euromillions Jackpot

With £50 million up for grabs it was lottery frenzy in last night’s Euromillions Lottery draw and we have some fantastic news about the draw. As a lucky Briton scoops Euromillions Jackpot of £25 million, sharing the lot with another lucky player from Ireland we’d like to say congratulations to the lucky winner who has become the third biggest jackpot winner ever seen in the UK.

The two lucky winners, one from the UK and one from Ireland will each receive £24,951,269.40, the third biggest jackpot ever won in the UK.
Camelot have made a statement to say they have plenty of champagne on ice and are looking forward to welcoming the lucky ticket holder to the National Lottery Millionaires Club although as of this morning no one had come forward to claim the prize.
The biggest ever lottery winner in the UK was postal worker Angela Kelly from East Kilbride, near Glasgow and she scooped £35.4 million on the Euromillions Lottery back in August 2007. Another lucky winner also won over £26 million in the same month, although that player chose to keep their anonymity. That makes this win the third biggest jackpot ever seen in the UK and without a doubt there will be some celebrations this weekend.
The two winners weren’t the only lucky lottery winners either, another ten players scooped a quarter of a million for matching five numbers and one lucky star and there were hundreds of players winning smaller prizes.
The next Euromillions Lottery draw will take place on Friday 19th June and the estimated jackpot will be £12 million.
