Lotto way of Thinking

UK National Lottery The UK’s National Lottery operator, Camelot has launched a brand new TV advertising campaign this month for the Lotto. The Lotto way of thinking campaign will encourage players to have a go and see what happens, with catchphrases and voiceovers aimed at the eternal optimist that lives within us all.

The new style ads launched on Saturday 1st November show players in a series of ‘feel good’ situations and reinforces the fact that anyone can win the Lotto all you need is a bit of luck.

The adverts will begin with a 60-second ad launch showing a woman holding a bottle with a note inside. As the camera pans out it shows her standing at the end of a pier, she throws the bottle into the sea and a voiceover states ‘let’s give it up for the optimists’ as the scene cuts to the starting line of a marathon the voiceover then states ‘The ones who think anything is possible’.

The campaign seems be centred around people who remain optimistic, pretty much like the National Lottery's first ad campaign where it was said that ‘it could be you’.

In the current economic situation maybe we all need to believe we can get a bit lucky. No matter what happens with the banks, employment and interest rates the only thing that isn’t affected is our ‘luck factor’. All we need is to buy our tickets and have lady luck looking down on us at the right moment and that substantial lottery win could be ours.

National Lottery draws are held twice weekly every Wednesday and Saturday evening. Estimated jackpots usually start at around £2.5 million but a lottery rollover makes tonight’s jackpot an estimated £7.5 million. Purchase your tickets online now by clicking our links above.
