Lotto Plus 5 off to a flying start

The very first Lotto Plus 5 draw took place on Sunday evening, and if you haven’t yet checked the numbers then they were, 5 – 8 – 16 – 21 – 33 – 48, bonus ball 38. One player matched all six main numbers in that draw to collect £250,000, one player matched five and the bonus to win £25,000 and a massive 34 players picked up a £250 bonus for matching just five balls. Then last night the second draw took place, the winning numbers for the 14th February draw were 13 – 15 – 28 – 32 – 38 – 40, bonus ball 10 and while no one matched all six balls, there was one £25,000 winner and 20 further players scooped the £250 prize. In total over £135,000 was given out in prizes.

So that’s the first two draws down and a massive total of lottery winners created already. We think that the Lotto Plus 5 is set to become one of the most popular Lotto games created and as you have to play the main Lotto to join in, we might just see a climb in UK National Lottery jackpots too!
