Lotto Max cannot find a winner

Another week has gone by and still the Lotto Max cannot find a winner, even when they hold 24 extra lottery draws. Last week’s Lotto Max had a staggering prize pool, well over $70 million, which meant there were 24 Maxmillions draws alongside the Lotto Max Canada draw, but not only did the main $50 million jackpot roll over, but only two of the 24 Maxmillions jackpots were won too.
This lack of winners on Friday evening, on both the main Lotto Max draw and the Maxmillions draws, means that this Friday’s prize pool is one of the biggest ever seen on the Friday night lottery, a staggering $89 million. If this jackpot is true and tallies with ticket sales up to Friday, then we could be seeing 39 Maxmillions draws playing alongside the Lotto Max $50 million jackpot!
That means Canadian Lottery players potentially have 40 chances to win on Friday evening, with every line of lottery numbers they buy. Not only will numbers be tallied against the main draw, but if you don’t get lucky, you then get a chance at the 39 Maxmillions draws, each paying out $1 million, as a consolation prize if you lose.
It’s easy to see why the Canada Lotto Max is becoming Canada’s favourite lottery draw, with so many chances to win every week the odds are fantastic. However, let’s hope players have a bit more luck this week, or who knows how many Maxmillions draws will need to take place next week!
