Lotto jackpot won on wrong numbers

Do you keep the same National Lottery numbers week after week hoping they’ll eventually come out? It seems to be a popular way of playing but what happens if you put the wrong numbers on one week by mistake? Well Bobby Guffey and his wife Janell did just that and won the Hoosier Lotto jackpot on the wrong numbers.
Guffey says he has always played the same numbers, week after week and never changed them. However this week he forgot his glasses and accidentally marked different numbers on the lotto slip, it turned out to be a stroke of luck though as the numbers came up meaning Mr Guffey and his wife won the Lotto Jackpot on the wrong numbers.
The couple play the Indiana Lottery every week and have now claimed their $3 million Hoosier Lotto jackpot win, they have put some into trust funds for their children and after paying off their mortgage intend on taking a trip to Hawaii.
It just goes to show, even if you put the same numbers on from week to week fate plays a great part and if it’s meant to be your turn to be lucky then fate will find a way. It certainly worked for this lucky couple and is probably the only time this gentleman has been pleased to forget his glasses.
I might try the theory next time I’m putting my own National Lottery tickets on, trouble is without my glasses I’d probably knock myself out on a lamp post before I got to the kiosk!
The Hoosier Lotto is played in the state of Indiana and is the only state lotto that uses the states nickname rather than its real name. It’s part of the multi-state lottery and the record win was $54.5 million won on 7th November 2007.
