There’s expected to be a massive rush to buy tickets today all over New Zealand as this is the largest ever jackpot the New Zealand Powerball Lotto has ever seen since its launch seven years ago.

The odds of winning the New Zealand Powerball Lotto are a staggering 38.4 million but as they say, someone has to win it no matter how large the odds and with the jackpot currently standing at a staggering $20 million it’s no wonder Lottery Fever has struck New Zealand as whoever does will be pretty much set up for life.

In a survey done this week of New Zealand’s citizens twenty-eight percent say they would use the lotto win to pay off debts, seventeen percent would give money to their family, just fifteen percent would buy a new home and eleven percent would like to travel. Most interestingly of all though is that fifty-four percent of those New Zealander’s surveyed say that they would not give up work if they won tonight’s massive New Zealand Powerball Lotto Jackpot.

However the lucky winner chooses to spend their massive winnings one thing is for sure, if the $20 million New Zealand Powerball Jackpot is won tonight by one person it will be the biggest lottery win the Island has ever seen.
