The suspense in the air has been tenable since the announcement that the world record Euromillions winner had not yet come forward but now we learn that the lottery winner had the flu and wasn’t even aware that she was holding the winning ticket. The unnamed 25 year old from Majorca was ill all weekend and didn’t find out she had won until she dragged herself into work on Monday, still ill to save her job in such recession hit times.
She won’t be worrying too much about her job now after scooping the biggest lottery win in the world of £110 million on Friday night’s Euromillions Lottery.

The winner had bought her ticket from an internet vendor and he had continually tried to contact her by phone and email over the weekend, however being so sick she had ignored the phone. After going into work on Monday still ill, she was finally contacted by the vendor who gave her the news that she was the world’s biggest lottery winner after her £110 million Euromillions Lottery win.
The jackpot for the Euromillions Lottery had rolled over six times, creating the biggest jackpot ever seen on the lottery. The lucky Majorcan lady had picked all five winning numbers and the two lucky stars and will now pick up the biggest ever Euromillions Jackpot cheque of €126 million.
That’s almost double the previous record set by one Dolores McNamara from Ireland who scooped £77 million on the Euromillions Lottery back in 2005.
The next Euromillions Lottery draw will be held tomorrow evening, May 15th and the jackpot will be reset to £13 million, with tickets at just £1.50 each it’s well worth a go and you can play the lottery online by clicking the link above.
