Lottery winner found dead
30th January 2010 12:50 PM
In what must be one of the most tragic and sinister lottery winners story we have ever reported here on World Lottery, Abraham Shakespeare, $31 million Florida Lottery winner is found dead nine months after mysteriously vanishing. When Mr Shakespeare won this massive amount three years ago he must have been on the top of the world, but it didn’t last long in this modern day tale of what looks like tragedy and greed.
Abraham Shakespeare has not been seen since April 2009 yet he wasn’t reported missing since November, just a couple of months ago. Since then the police have been clandestine with the details to say the least in what must have been a difficult to keep quiet case.
The police cordoned off a section of the street, an area where the lottery winners body was last seen. Yet despite suspicion that it was Mr Shakespeare’s body they were looking for, no details were given to journalists.
We now know that the police had a tip-off regarding the disappearance of the Florida Lottery winner and now after being found buried in a make-shift grave under a concrete slab, Florida police have confirmed that the body is indeed that of Florida Lottery winner Abraham Shakespeare.
It’s a grisly end for the 43 year old who just three years ago must have been on the top of the world after scooping this life changing amount on a rollover Florida Lottery draw. He couldn’t have possibly imagined that the life changes would be the ones that have unfolded, especially as his body was found in the backyard of a ‘friend’ he gave $1 million to.
Anonymity after a lottery win is becoming a more and more appealing concept as more stories or lottery joy gone bad seems to affect so many people, although not in such tragic circumstances of this lottery winner and his now missing millions.
