Lottery Results for Saturday 4th October 2014

Lottery players had plenty of opportunities to win life-changing sums of money last night, and we are delighted to report that quite a few of them succeeded. Some of the big winners will already be well aware of their success, and will have already started celebrating, but others may be completely oblivious to the fact that they now have an extra six or seven figures at their disposal. Those of you who haven’t yet checked your numbers may agree that now is a good time to do so as we present a broad-strokes summary of the lottery results for Saturday 4th October, 2014

Lottery Results for Saturday 4th October 2014

UK Lotto

04 – 18 – 24 – 34 – 36 – 48 Bonus Ball: 10

A brand new jackpot in the UK Lotto game had a final value of £4,300,392, and we can confirm that two tickets matched all six numbers required to win that top prize, so each of those tickets is now worth £2,150,196. There were 12 tickets that won £28,604 each by matching five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball, and more than 272,000 tickets won smaller prizes by matching fewer numbers. In addition, the Lotto Raffle game awarded a prize of £20,000 to each of 50 winners. The full breakdown of prizes won in the Saturday night Lotto game can be found by visiting the Results page at Lottery.co.uk.

Irish Lottery

12 – 14 – 32 – 35 – 39 – 41 Bonus Ball: 06

The Irish Lottery jackpot is, statistically speaking, one of the easier lottery jackpots to win, but that didn’t help anyone to succeed in the game last night. One ticket matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball number to secure a second tier prize worth €25,000, and another 25 tickets won €2,629 each by matching five main numbers only. The total number of consolation prizes landed exceeded 31,000, and you can see exactly how those prizes were distributed by visiting the Results page at IrishLottery.com. The next Irish Lottery game on Wednesday will be worth around €4.5 million.

Health Lottery

33 – 38 – 39 – 49 – 50 Bonus Ball: 13

The Health Lottery offers a top prize of £100,000 to any player who can match all five of the main numbers drawn, but there were no such players last night. The good news is that more than 11,000 tickets picked up a consolation prize of some kind, and there will be another chance to win big in the next game on Wednesday.

SuperEnalotto

02 – 06 – 11 – 62 – 70 – 71 Jolly: 17 SuperStar: 58

Italian lottery players were just six main numbers away from winning a jackpot worth around €30.5 million in the SuperEnalotto game last night, but matching all of those numbers proved just a little too difficult, so the top prize rolled over once again. No ticket won a second tier prize either, but there were 16 winning entries at the third tier, and each of those won €16,896 by matching five main numbers only. Over 45,000 tickets won smaller prizes, and more than 49,000 SuperStar entries also won prizes. The next game on Tuesday will offer a jackpot of around €31 million.

Powerball

13 – 18 – 24 – 25 – 33 Powerball: 31

The Saturday night Powerball jackpot had an advertised value of $60 million, and the top prize will be worth an estimated $70 million in the next game thanks to no ticket being able to match all six of the numbers drawn. There was one ticket that matched the five main numbers only, and that gave the lucky player concerned a prize of $1 million, whilst ten players won $10,000 each by matching four main numbers and the Powerball. The total number of prizes landed was 388,370, and that figure includes 75,514 prizes that were won by Power Play entries.

Australian Saturday Lotto

06 – 20 – 22 – 29 – 32 – 44 Supplementary Numbers: 38 and 41

Two of the main numbers that were drawn in this week’s Australian Saturday Lotto game had also appeared a week earlier, and both of them were vital to anyone who wanted to win the top prize. Three tickets matched all six numbers to share a jackpot worth AUD$4,209,818, which means that each winning player will now be able to claim AUD$1,403,272. There were 39 tickets that won a Division 2 prize worth AUD$14,656 each by matching five main numbers and one of the supplementary numbers, and more than 410,000 tickets won smaller prizes across the lower divisions. There will be another jackpot of around AUD$4 million up for grabs in the next game on Saturday 11th October.
