On Saturday 18th January the Irish Lottery jackpot was shared by six winning tickets, so hopes were high that someone would be able to land the top prize for the second weekend in a row. Those hopes weren’t realised, but there were two players who managed to match five of the main numbers as well as the Bonus Ball and won €25,000 for their efforts instead. A handful of prime numbers among the Health Lottery results last night helped plenty of players to win a prize of some sort. Five tickets matched all five main numbers to win a top prize of €100,000 each, and more than 17,000 tickets won consolation prizes. There were also ten tickets that won Hot Ticket prizes of anything up to £10,000 each, so well done to everyone concerned.

One lucky player landed the SuperEnalotto jackpot in the second midweek game on Thursday, so there was a brand new jackpot of around €6.8 million for Italian lottery fans to pursue last night. None of the tickets entered for the game succeeded in matching the numbers required to win the jackpot, and no ticket won a second tier prize either, but 11 tickets won €26,955 each by matching five main numbers only and almost 30,000 smaller prizes were landed at the lower levels. The jackpot in the next SuperEnalotto game this Tuesday will be worth an estimated €7.3 million.

We said at the beginning of this news item that no player was able to win the jackpot in last night’s Powerball game, but we are pleased to report that two tickets matched five main numbers only, giving their owners a life-changing consolation prize of $1,000,000 each. There were 21 tickets that matched four main numbers and the Powerball to secure a third tier prize of $10,000 each, and over 504,000 prizes were landed at the lower levels. The latest rollover means that the jackpot in the next Powerball game on Wednesday will be worth an even bigger $171 million.
Australian Saturday Lotto

There were eleven tickets that matched all six main numbers in the Australian Saturday Lotto game this week, and since the jackpot weighed in with a final value of AUD$4,113,936, each of the winning players will received an equal share worth AUD$373,994.
