Lottery Results for Saturday 1st March 2014

The first day of a brand new month brought a clutch of big jackpots for lottery fans to play for. The biggest prize on offer last night was in the Powerball game, where the jackpot had an advertised value of $60 million, but the Irish Lotto also weighed in with a hefty top prize of €7.7 million and the UK Lotto game was in the same league with a jackpot of £4.3 million. We are pleased to write that several of the jackpots available last night were landed in great style, so without further ado let’s explain what happened as we present the lottery results for Saturday 1st March, 2014…

Lottery Results for Saturday 1st March 2014

UK Lotto

04 – 09 – 10 – 13 – 29 – 40 Bonus Ball: 45

The top prize in last night’s UK Lotto game had a final value of £4,358,812, and we are pleased to report that four tickets matched the six main numbers that were needed to win it. That gave each of the winning tickets a value of £1,089,703, so well done to the players concerned. Six tickets matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win a second tier prize of £49,724 each, and the total number of prizes landed was 376,391. The Lotto Raffle game also paid out 100 prizes of £20,000 each. Full details of the prizes won last night can be viewed by visiting the Results page at Lottery.co.uk.

Irish Lottery

06 – 18 – 19 – 38 – 40 – 42 Bonus Ball: 23

The Irish Lottery jackpot continued to roll over last night after none of the entries purchased for the game succeeded in matching all six of the main numbers. There was one ticket that matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to secure a second tier prize of €25,000, and another 44 tickets matched five main numbers only to win a third tier prize of €1,900 each. Over 43,000 prizes were won at the lower levels, and you can see exactly what those were worth by visiting the Results page at IrishLottery.com. The jackpot in the next Irish Lottery game on Wednesday will be worth around €8 million.

Health Lottery

13 – 15 – 17 – 38 – 39 Bonus Ball: 29

As always, Health Lottery players were just five main numbers away from winning themselves £100,000 each last night, but unfortunately none of the tickets purchased for the game managed to do that. The good news is that there were plenty of players who won a consolation prize of some kind, with more than 72,000 prizes paid out overall. The next chance for players to win £100,000 in the Health Lottery game will be on Wednesday.

SuperEnalotto

07 – 08 – 47 – 56 – 79 – 90 Jolly: 09 SuperStar: 18

There was a SuperEnalotto jackpot of €4.2 million to be won last night, but no player was able to match all six main numbers, so the top prize rolled over to the next game on Tuesday, when it will be worth an estimated €4.7 million. The second prize tier was also vacant of winners, but eight tickets matched five main numbers only to win €36,694 each at the third tier and more than 46,000 smaller prizes were landed by matching fewer numbers.

Powerball

03 – 08 – 25 – 30 – 47 Powerball: 13

Powerball players had a jackpot of $60 million to play for last night, and we can tell you that one ticket in California matched all of the numbers required to land it. Three tickets matched the five main numbers only to win a second tier prize of $1 million each, and another 25 tickets won $10,000 each by matching four main numbers plus the Powerball. There were over 447,000 prizes won in total by standard entries, plus more than 99,000 prizes won by Power Play entries. The next Powerball game on Wednesday will now offer a brand new jackpot worth $40 million.

Australian Saturday Lotto

04 – 13 – 33 – 35 – 39 – 45 Supplementary Numbers: 14 and 29

The final value of the Australian Saturday Lotto jackpot last night was AUD$4,170,666, and we are delighted to report that four tickets matched all six of the main numbers, giving each one an equal share worth AUD$1,042,666. There were 61 tickets that matched five main numbers and one of the supplementary numbers to win a Division 2 prize of AUD$9,278 each, and 1,068 tickets won AUD$1,143 each at Division 3 by matching five main numbers only. More than 506,000 prizes were won in total, and there will be another jackpot of around AUD$4 million up for grabs in the next game.
