It was a massive draw in the Mega Millions and the first time the jackpot has been so high since February when a player hit a $275 million jackpot. The jackpot for last nights’ Mega Millions draw was $207 million before taxes and the winning numbers are 10, 16, 19, 27 and 48 the Mega Ball was 25. The winner from Ohio can consider themselves very lucky today after scooping the whole lot which is worth $140 million cash value.
The Mega Millions lottery jackpot will now reset in time for the next draw on Tuesday 16th December and will be worth $12 million. That means that there is everything to play for in tonight’s Powerball lottery draw, at $40 million it’s now the biggest prize available.
Euromillions lottery players were lucky too, with two tickets matching all five numbers drawn and the two lucky stars to share that £13 million jackpot, although neither of those ticket holders were from the UK. The next draw will be held on Friday 19th December and the jackpot will be an estimated £13 million. The Euromillions numbers are 2, 19, 28, 42 and 49 the lucky stars drawn were 2 and 7.
There were lots of lucky Euromillions winners from the UK though with four ticket holders winning almost half a million for matching five main numbers and one lucky star and 9 players winning £62,327 for matching five numbers without the lucky stars.
