Lottery Repeat of Numbers

No we don’t mean a repeat of the lottery show, more that the Bulgarian National Lottery is facing a probe after a lottery repeat of numbers. Every number drawn in one draw of the Bulgarian Lottery came out in the following draw leading officials to look into the draw and how this could have happened.
Of course every combination of lottery numbers has the same chance as any other but mathematicians say that the chances of the same numbers being drawn twice are one in 4 million. Coincidence isn’t unheard of and it is quite possible – if unlikely – to have the same set of lottery numbers drawn twice.
On 6th September the draw machine for the Bulgarian National Lottery drew the numbers 4 – 15 – 23 – 24 – 35 and 42, not unlikely you might think but then on September 10th the exact same numbers came out again.
Now unless we have disappeared into the twilight zone (cue music) we at worldlottery can hardly believe that this could be possible. A lottery official says that manipulation of the numbers or the machine is impossible so just how did it happen.
There will now be a probe into the lottery draw and all the balls and machines will be checked for foul play. Lottery officials are putting it down to a freak occurrence.
Interestingly no one won the top prize in the first draw but a record eighteen lottery players got all the numbers right in the second draw and each of those will win 10,164 leva.
