It’s been a week full of exciting Lottery news, with some big winners and rollover jackpots right across the world, strange lottery number combinations and lots of new scratch cards for us to take a look at it really has been a treat for all the world lottery fans out there. Now of course it’s time for the big news of the week, all the lottery numbers, winners, news and results from the main weekend lottery draws from around the world.
Let’s start with the draws closest to home and the rollover Irish Lottery draw from Saturday 31st January 2009. The jackpot was worth over €4 million and was scooped by one lucky winner who matched all six main numbers 5, 8, 19, 24, 26, 29 not needing the bonus number 38. This bonus ball did come into play for two other winners though as they needed it to complete their five number and the bonus win for €25,000.

And over the water in the UK National Lottery the winning numbers were 1, 4, 13, 15, 35, 38 and the bonus ball was 39. We can confirm that the jackpot on that draw was won although we have no further details confirmed as the National Lottery are making some improvements to their webpage today making it easier and faster for players to play the lottery online. Wednesdays National Lottery jackpot will be worth an estimated £2.5 million.
It was a rollover in the USA Powerball Lottery making Wednesdays Jackpot now worth an estimated $52 million. No players matched the numbers 1, 14 26, 33, 41 and the red Powerball 37 in that draw so the midweek draw should certainly be an exciting affair.
In Canada’s Lotto 6/49 draw there was a big $10 million jackpot up for grabs and one lucky winner scooped the whole lot, one other player matched five numbers and the bonus ball for almost half a million and there were lots of smaller winners too. The numbers in that draw are 14, 15, 20, 28, 34, 39 and the bonus ball was 41. Wednesdays jackpot on that draw will be worth an estimated $3.5 million.
