A Lottery player in Ontario is absolutely furious after a lottery misprint voids his win. Thomas Noftall says he has won $114,000 in the lottery yet Ontario’s Lottery and Gaming Corporation-the company that runs Canada’s Lotto 6/49-says that the scratch cards were misprinted making them worthless.
A lottery spokesman has said that the corporation acknowledge it has been a frustrating experience for the gentleman and say they regret the difficulties this rare printing error on the lottery scratch cards has caused.

However Mr Noftall says he doesn’t want the lotteries condolences, he wants his money, the $114,000 that Mr Noftall believes is rightfully his. After winning this amazing chance of a lifetime the gentleman believes that the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation should pay out, he has his tickets which he says clearly denote that he is the winner of this amount.
The four winning tickets in Mr Noftall’s possession were among 1,100 that had ‘improper aligned symbols under the scratch off surface’ It’s thought that between fifty and one hundred and fifty of these ‘bad tickets’ were sold before the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission pulled the scratch card tickets off sale from scratch card and lotto 6/49 retailers across the country.
The commission says that if the tickets are misprinted or defective then the tickets are void and although they are happy to replace the tickets with new ones, or provide a refund they do not believe that they are eligible to pay this man out the $114,000 he believes he has won.
