Have you watched the channel 4 show Secret Millionaire? It shows a millionaire in disguise moving into a community and seeing how they could help that community and then finally revealing themselves and giving cash amounts from their own pocket to community projects. It’s a great show and now the lottery and the Secret Millionaire are joining forces to give even more cash to community projects around the UK.
In the project, the National Lottery Big Lottery Fund and Channel 4’s The Secret Millionaire are teaming up to give viewers of the show a chance to act of the charitable donations shown in the popular television show.

The Big Lottery Fund has put aside lottery funding worth £1 million for the show, to be given away in grants of between £500 and £5,000 in the Secret Millionaire Lottery fund. You can take part and see if your community group may be eligible by visiting the Channel 4 website, from here you can nominate a worthy cause or even apply for a Secret Millionaire Lottery grant for your own community project.
Successful projects and applicants will be selected for filming by Channel 4 and may even actually appear on the website or the Secret Millionaire Television show on Channel 4.
It’s a great project and another way that your 28p in every £1 you spend on lottery tickets is going to good causes and community projects up and down the UK. Look out for the show coming soon and be sure to check out the details on the Channel 4 website for more details.
