There were no winners in last night’s Mega Millions Lottery draw creating yet another rollover. This event in the multi-state lottery has created the largest Mega Millions Jackpot for more than a year pushing the jackpot up to an unbelievable $212 million. Fridays draw was worth $171 million and with the jackpot now reaching stratospheric proportions lottery fever is bound to take hold across the participating states.
The last time the Mega Millions Lottery jackpot was more than $200 million was on December 12th 2008, one ticket holder from Ohio matched all five winning numbers and the Mega Ball in that draw to win $207. On February 22nd 2008 one lucky player from Georgia scooped $270 million playing the lottery and that was the last time it was high than the next draw will be worth.
The winning numbers in last night’s Mega Millions Lottery draw are 24, 37, 44, 50 and 56. The Mega Ball is 35. Although there was no grand prize winner in the draw plenty of players got lucky with many winners across all the participating states. Eighteen players won second division prizes of $250,000 and another 77 players matched four numbers and the Mega Ball to scoop $10,000 in the lottery.
