After months of speculation and an estimated €500,000 an hour being spent on lottery tickets, the SuperEnalotto Italy jackpot has finally found a winner. No details have yet emerged of how the Italian Lottery Jackpot was won but it has gone and if the winner is a single lottery player, they will almost certainly enter the record books as the world’s biggest ever lottery winner. The winning numbers for the SuperEnalotto Italy are 4 – 26 – 40 – 54 – 55 – 67, bonus ball 41 and these magic six numbers have just made at least one lucky lottery player rich beyond their wildest dreams.
Within the next day or so details should emerge about the winner, who has defied odds of more than 600 million to one to win the SuperEnalotto Italy jackpot. The lottery has rolled over for 129 draws, which even by world lottery standards is a huge lottery win, to become the biggest lottery jackpot in the world. It is slightly exceeded by a $330 million Mega Millions Lottery win, but as that was shared, the SuperEnalotto should still take the world record.
While we may never find out who the winner is – problems with the Mafia prevent many choosing publicity – we should know soon whether it was a single lottery player, syndicate or a shared jackpot and if this €177 million jackpot is indeed a world lottery record.
Check back later for the full world lottery results and do check those lottery tickets very carefully!
