One €2 lottery ticket purchased in Bar Biffi in Bagnone in Central Italy has brought about an end to the drama. One lottery ticket, costing €2 to win a tax free amount of €147 – Italy’s biggest every lottery jackpot and one of the highest ever seen across the world.

The winning numbers for the SuperEnalotto were 10 – 11 – 27 – 45 – 79 – 88 and it’s the first time since January 31st since any player matched all the winning numbers from all the possible 90 available, despite the amount of lottery tickets sold.

Lottery fever has had nothing on this draw with more than €400 million spent on lottery tickets just during July and €300 million spend already during August. Not just by Italians of course as players have been flying in with cheap airfares to be in with a chance at this jackpot.

But now the fever is over and everyone can relax, for now of course. Who knows when the next winner of the SuperEnalotto will be and lottery fever may just prevail again.
