Illinois Lottery goes to Northstar

After weeks of questions, pondering and decisions the Illinois Lottery goes to Northstar. The UK National Lottery owners and the Northstar group have both put in bids for the lottery with the UK National Lottery company being hot favourites for the bid. The decision came down to Governor Pat Quinn who on Wednesday decided that the Northstar group should become the new managers of the Illinois Lottery for the next ten years.
The Northstar Group is made up of several groups, many of whom already provide services for the Illinois Lottery so maybe it should come as no surprise to hear they have won the ten-year tenure. It does strike a blow for the company who run the UK National Lottery however, as they have made no secret of their desire to acquire other lottery draws.

Tonise Paul, the CEO of the Northstar group is understandably thrilled at the acquisition and has released a statement to say how pleased the company is and how it intends to take the Illinois Lottery from strength to strength over the next ten years.
For the UK National Lottery, they have made no secret of their desires and the only question left to ask, is which world lottery draw will the company chase now?
For UK lottery players, none of this matters, the only important thing is who is going to win tonight’s £7 million rollover? Who knows, buy lottery tickets now and check back tomorrow for the full results in our lottery numbers article. Good luck!
