How a Lottery win can bring misery

This week two lucky players from the UK are celebrating the fact they are now the two biggest every lottery winners on UK shores after sharing the £91 million Euromillions Lottery. It is still not known if either winner is an individual or part of a lottery syndicate but both winners have come forward. We at WorldLottery would like to congratulate them on their good fortune but would also like to warn how a lottery win can bring misery for big winners.
Let’s take a look back at the history of the Euromillions Lottery, earlier this year one lucky Spanish player won the world’s biggest lottery jackpot on the Euromillions lottery and scooped over £100 million. We have not heard much about the player – who choose to remain anonymous – but she took the Euromillions Lottery record from one Dolores McNamara from Ireland who scooped £77 million in August 2005 a record at the time and still she remains one of the biggest Euromillions Lottery winners ever seen.
Now however, Mrs McNamara is said to live as a recluse and the dream has now soured, she suffers a different type of money troubles to the rest of us and £77 million doesn’t appear to have brought her much happiness.
She received a lot of bad press after the win about her family, having raised six children in a terrace house she won, what was then the biggest prize in history but after various kidnap attempts, unflattering press and embarrassing incidents since the win she is now said to be living as a virtual recluse in the €1.7 million home in County Clare.
Coming into that huge amount of money instantly must be a massive shock for anyone so while we congratulate the lucky Euromillions winners we would like to say be careful and spend that money wisely.
