Health Lottery Draw on Saturday 8th October 2011

Health Lottery DrawLottery fans across the UK will be excited to hear about a new lottery game set to take place this weekend, in the form of the Health Lottery. Developed by Channel 5 owner Richard Desmond, the aim of this lottery is to help raise funds towards ‘health-related good causes’ – and with this weekend marking the first Health Lottery draw on Saturday 8th October 2011, it will be interesting to see who will take home the first ever Health Lottery jackpot prize!

Its gameplay is extremely simple, whereby players must match five numbers between 1 and 50 in order to win the top prize. Players have the option to enter their own numbers, or can select the Quick Pick feature to have the numbers randomly generated for them. With a total of three prize tiers to contend for, players must match either one of three combinations to be in with a chance to win the following:

  • Match 5 numbers to win up to £100,000
  • Match 4 numbers to win £500
  • Match 3 numbers to win £50

The draw will be held every Saturday night on ITV and Channel 5, with its debut screening to take place during the ad break of this Saturday’s X Factor on ITV at 9:30pm as well as on Channel 5. Fronted by Eamonn Holmes, the aim of the Health Lottery is to raise approximately £50 million towards local health services.

Each ticket costs £1, with 20p of every ticket sold donated towards supporting local charitable initiatives. Remember, all players must be aged 16 or over to play or claim a prize – so whether you choose to play as an individual or as a syndicate, be sure to get your lottery tickets quickly for Saturday’s game and check your Health Lottery results here!
