Global Lottery discussions

Global LotteryIn 2008 it seemed that every time you opened the newspaper there was talk of the Global Lottery plans. The Global Lottery would be a world lottery played by as many countries around the world that would sign up, no restrictions. It was said that the draw was to launch in 2012 and that the UK National Lottery company were to almost certainly run the lottery, since the Global Lottery discussions have stalled but now there’s some news from over the water about plans for a Global Lottery draw.

Experts from the owners of the Lotto and Super Lotto games have predicted that within five years there will be a $1 billion lottery game played around the world.

Just a few years ago, players got hysterical over £5 million lottery jackpots, now it takes £100 million to have the same effect, interest is waning in many lottery draws around the world and lottery players take a lot more firing up than a few years ago.

With world record lottery jackpots like the $390 millions Mega Millions Lottery record or the £147 million Euromillions Lottery it’s little wonder that lottery players are looking for the big jackpots

Brian George, head of lottery operators Supreme Ventures Limited has predicted this week that by 2015 the American Lottery companies would come together and create a Global Lottery for players around the world. The sheer number volume of lottery players would push the prize pools up into the billions and like the UK National Lottery and Francaise de Jeux promised when they were considering the Global Lottery this could mean lottery jackpots of up to £100 million, on a weekly basis!
