Friday's Euromillions Jackpot at £100 Million after Nine Rollovers

Euromillions Jackpot RolloverWe’ve no doubt that you have been checking your Euromillions results since Tuesday’s draw in the hope that you were made an overnight millionaire but the only millionaire to be made from Tuesday’s draw was from the Millionaire Raffle game. Friday’s Euromillions jackpot stands at an estimated £100 million after nine rollovers so there is still the possibility that it could be you in tonight’s Euromillions draw – all you have to do is select the right numbers – five main numbers from 1 – 50 and two Lucky Stars from 1 to 11.

With the Euromillions jackpot growing at an increasing rate we start to look once again at the Jackpot Cap and for those of you who don’t know what this is, it’s the amount (in Euros) that the jackpot can reach before the additional prize money starts to roll down to the lower prize tiers. The cap has been reached twice since its introduction; the first time on Friday 8th July 2011 and then again on Tuesday 12th July when the jackpot was won by Chris and Colin Weir.

Although we may be a few draws away yet from meeting the new Euromillions jackpot cap of €190 million it’s something that is definitely possible. Looking at the euro millions results for Tuesday’s draw you may have been shocked to find that with the majority of the numbers drawn being under 31 that no jackpot winners were found – we definitely didn’t think it was going to roll again based on the numbers drawn being those that could be birthdays, anniversaries and special dates on the calendar. It just goes to show that your chances of winning are the same whatever numbers you choose for your Euromillions tickets!
