First Euromillions double rollover of the year

EuromillionsWith £24.1 million up for grabs, ticket sales were high for last night’s Euromillions Lottery rollover. However, no one matched all five winning numbers and the lucky stars to win the jackpot and that means next week it’s the first Euromillions double rollover of the year with an estimated jackpot of £36 million. The winning numbers in last night’s draw were 2 – 3 – 15 – 45 – 49, lucky stars 5 and 9 so check those lottery tickets now as there were a few big prizes given away.

Clearly the above numbers were not lucky for players; as well as the rollover, just six players matched all the main numbers and one lucky star and just one of those was from the UK, collecting £360,605! However, this does mean a monster Euromillions jackpot to play for next week, it’s already estimated at £36 million and as it’s the first double rollover of 2011 it may get even higher than that.

Since the start of the year, there have been three Euromillions rollovers, including last night’s draw but each one has been won at £24 million. This means that if the jackpot is won next week by a single ticketholder, they will become the biggest Euromillions winners of 2011.

If you did buy lottery tickets for last night’s draw, be sure to check the results now, as you could be one of the big winners. If you’re in the UK, check the Millionaire Raffle result as this could be worth £1 million; many players aren’t checking their lottery tickets and there are six unclaimed Millionaire Raffle prizes waiting to be claimed!
