If you’ve tuned into the evening television on Channel 5 in the UK during the last few days you may have noticed a draw for a daily lottery called Eurotelemillions. Draws have been shown every night on Channel 5 for the lottery promising £1 million prizes every day and shows a website address where you can purchase tickets for the lottery .
Now you could be forgiven for thinking – judging by the name – that this new daily lottery was connected to, or at least endorsed by the Europe-wide Euromillions Lottery. You’d be wrong, this lottery isn’t in any way endorsed or connected to the Euromillions Lottery, the National Lottery or Camelot.

The daily draws are eye-catching and the website certainly sells the product well but be aware that because this new daily lottery isn’t endorsed or run by Camelot – the team behind the National Lottery and Euromillions – there are also many disadvantages to playing.
Firstly you don’t have the assurances you get with Camelot, which is effectively governed by strict rules, you’re also not supporting good causes when playing this new Eurotelemillions Lottery and although there are contact details on site I am yet to hear of anyone winning £1 million per day on this new lottery, not that I am in any way doubting the integrity of this new daily lottery, no doubt there are some great prizes to be won.
No doubt there will be players just itching to try out for this daily prize but personally, I’ll stick to buying my Euromillions tickets online, knowing I am supporting good causes and playing in a lottery that is open about prize percentages and rolls over if not won.
If you’d like to play the Euromillions Lottery online, just click the link above and play directly from the National Lottery website.
