Euromillions Winner Lost out

As most lottery players are aware, if you don’t come forward within a certain amount of days you lose your prize and unfortunately one Euromillions Winner lost out on a staggering €1 million prize after failing to come forward to collect in time. The winner from Ireland has now lost out on his or her chance to claim the €1 million prize and the money will now go back into the pot for good causes.
The winning Euromillions Lottery ticket was purchased in the SuperValu store in the town of Graigeunamanagh the day before the draw on May 1st 2009 but despite lots of local news coverage the winner failed to come forward to collect their winning.

In a big to encourage players to check old lottery tickets the managers of the SuperValu store had put champagne on ice in the hope that the winner would come forward at the last minute. There was one million reasons to check those old tickets yet unfortunately the cash has remained unclaimed.
It’s highly unlikely for large lottery prizes such as this one to be unclaimed although many smaller prizes go unclaimed every month, there is a section of the National Lottery website where you can check unclaimed prizes but it’s best to check your lottery tickets carefully as you go.
Alternatively play the UK National Lottery and Euromillions Lottery online and ensure you never miss a prize again, they will email you if you are a lucky winner and you don’t ever have to worry about losing a lottery ticket again.
