Euromillions Winner goes back to work with Arriva

Carl Prance thought all of his dreams had come true when he won £6.9 million on the Euromillions lottery last year but after a few holidays and a Jaguar purchase the Euromillions winner goes back to work with Arriva trains. It’s just ten months since his fortune changed and he won a share of a massive £88 million Euromillions win, but after a couple of holidays on the Mediterranean coast he was itching to get back to work.
As this Euromillions winner goes back to work with Arriva trains he gives the explanation that trains are in his blood. Mr Prance is the third generation of his family to work on the trains and although he retired from train driving after 34 years he still could not bear to be too far away from them and retrained as a resource manager for Arriva trains in Cardiff.

Apart from the Jaguar and several holidays abroad the only big lifestyle change for the Mr Prance and his family was to move to a static caravan in the nearby Trecco Bay caravan park in Porthcawl, South Wales.
The gentleman from Splott, Cardiff said that although he could have moved anywhere in the world, he loves South Wales and could never imagine leaving. He just cannot understand why anyone would ever want to go anywhere else.
This is the second story we have brought you this week about Lottery winners who have gone back to work and it certainly makes you wonder if the old saying about “work maketh the man” is true. It seems to ring true for this lucky Euromillions winner, what would you do with £6.9 million in the bank? I’m not sure I’d be rushing back to work!
