Euromillions and SuperEnalotto in Lottery race
4th May 2010 10:48 AM
The Euromillions and SuperEnalotto are in a lottery race this week to see which can offer the biggest jackpot. The Euromillions has now rolled over four times creating a bumper £67 million jackpot but the SuperEnalotto Italy has been rolling for weeks and that jackpot is worth a staggering €68.2 million for tonight’s draw. In Euro terms the Euromillions jackpot wins as this Friday’s jackpot is worth an estimated €75 million but each lottery is virtually neck and neck and that gives European lottery players plenty to play for.
It’s been months since the SuperEnalotto Italy has seen a winner but as it’s a lottery draw that is held several times a week it is a slow grower. The jackpot now is €68.2 million and the next draw is this evening. The reason the SuperEnalotto Italy can offer such bumper jackpots is because the lottery is notoriously one of the hardest in the world to win, players need to match six numbers from a pool of 90, lengthening the odds of winning the jackpot.
The Euromillions Lottery will be drawn on Friday evening and that one has an estimated £67 million jackpot. This once weekly draw is played right across Europe, in nine countries (although not Italy) and so this gives the jackpot a chance to climb at a much higher rate. The Euromillions Lottery has rolled over four times now and could be a record lottery jackpot if won by a UK Lottery player.
You can play both the SuperEnalotto Italy and the Euromillions Lottery through our world lottery pages, with the SuperEnalotto tonight and then the Euromillions Lottery not until Friday, why not try both and see how lucky you can be?
