So when on Friday evening, a couple of hours after the Euromillions Lottery draw the news that the £113 million was scooped by two UK players, we at World Lottery simply couldn’t wait to bring you the news. It was a double UK lottery record and for both winners to be from the same country is amazing, from both of them to be from the UK was just phenomenal news.
However, by Saturday morning it became clear that the Euromillions Lottery results printed on the UK National Lottery website were indeed incorrect. The numbers are printed as shown, however the two winners were not both from the UK.
The Euromillions Lottery draw on Friday evening, did indeed create two £56.5 million winners, one from the UK – a UK record – and the other from Spain.
No other details have yet been release about the winners but we will endeavour to bring you any news as it breaks.
