The highest number available to use as one of the main balls made an appearance last night, number 50, and it’s the most common of the Euromillions winning numbers appearing a total of 61 times. The number 48 is in fact one of the five most least drawn numbers for the Euromillions having made only 33 appearances as a main number since the game started. The Two Lucky Stars 8 and 9 that were drawn last night are the third most common consecutive Lucky Star Pairs.
Whilst no winners managed to scoop the big jackpot six players did get lucky by matching 5 main numbers and 1 Lucky Star for £196,606/€294,499 and over 1.3 million players won a prize on the lowest prize tier of Match 2 numbers for £3.30/€5.
The Euromillions jackpot for Friday 9th September is an estimated £126/€146 million which will no doubt attract many more players both because of the size of the jackpot and the fact that it is a Friday draw.
