Whatever the outcome of last night’s draw the jackpot for Tuesday 4th October was always going to be at least £85/€100 million because the operators have decided on a Superdraw for this date. The Euromillions results from last night have absolutely no effect on the pot prize for Tuesday, the fact that it was won just means that the operators have to throw more coffers to bring the jackpot up to the guaranteed amount.

Talking of the Euromillions Superdraw for Tuesday WorldLottery has another interesting fact for you about them; did you know that for the three previous Superdraws that jackpot was never won but in fact rolled over to the next draw? The last Superdraw took place on 10th May 2011 and rolled to the Friday draw where one lucky Spanish ticket took home the £105,892,179/€121,019,633 jackpot. Prior to that there was a Superdraw on 1st October 2010 which also rolled to the following draw where a UK player scooped the jackpot. The Superdraw on 5th February 2010 saw the same outcome, a roll to the following week and funnily enough the two winning tickets were from the UK and Spain!
