The Euromillions draw, number 408, was the biggest the Euromillions jackpot has been for over a month now, and certainly the biggest anywhere in Europe right now. Ticket sales were high, but still no one matched all the winning numbers and the lucky stars to scoop the £58 million jackpot.

Six players matched the five main balls and just one lucky star, and each of those players will collect the biggest prizes of the evening, €319,085 each. All of these winning players are across Europe, and so neither top tier prize landed in the UK.

After the rollover, Tuesday’s Euromillions jackpot is worth an estimated £64 million (€74 million in Europe), one of the biggest in the world and as the midweek Euromillions draw is not televised, players will have to ensure they check the Euromillions Lottery results after the draw.

Checking the Euromillions results is so important, currently, in the UK alone there is more than £3 million in unclaimed Euromillions prizes, as much as the total paid to UK winners in last night’s Euromillions draw. These are life-changing amounts of money, so remember, it’s ok getting excited about the big jackpots, but you must check the results too!
