Euromillions ResultsAfter twelve consecutive rollovers, and lottery fever sweeping Europe the Euromillions nears its limit now with one of the biggest jackpots ever seen on the lottery. Tonight’s Euromillions jackpot is an estimated £154 million, a record for UK lottery players and this equates to €171 million in Europe, which is almost at the Euromillions cap level. The Euromillions cap is set at €185 million and when the jackpot reaches that level, interesting things happen to the jackpot totals in the Euromillions results.

Let’s hope that someone wins the twelfth Euromillions Lottery rollover jackpot tonight, if it rolls again it will certainly meet its cap by Friday evening but that will mean even more big winners.

If the Euromillions jackpot reaches more than €185 million on Friday evening, then any funds from ticket sales over and above this amount will roll down to the next tier. This means that players matching five main balls and just one lucky number could be winning a lot more than usual!

Once the Euromillions cap has been reached then it’s certainly going to mean more players winning more cash and that cannot be a bad thing. The Euromillions rules state that if the capped jackpot is not won then the following week the same scenario will take place - the €185 million jackpot is offered to players who can match 5 main numbers and two Lucky Stars with funds from tickets sales over and above the cap will roll down to the lower prize levels. We are however waiting on clarification on the rules should this situation arise.

Can the Euromillions roll again? Surely we’ll see a winner after twelve consecutive rollovers!
