Many times people are emailed and told that they have won the EuroMillions lottery but most people with any sense would know this is not how Camelot works; neither would they phone you to inform you of your win. According to Get Surrey online residents have been tricked into handing over £100,000 as part of the EuroMillions lottery scam in Surrey. In just the last few months four people have been taken in by the hoax and handed over substantial amounts of money. Each of the people hit by the EuroMillions lottery scam in Surrey were contacted by either telephone or letter and made to believe they had to “release tax fees” in order to get their winnings.
