Euromillions Lottery gets overhaul

EuromillionsSince its launch in 2004, very little has changed about the Euromillions Lottery. The jackpots have climbed as the draw has become more popular, and in 2009 the Millionaire Raffle draw launched but the actual draw has never changed. Well, it’s time for that change and in a few weeks the Euromillions Lottery gets an overhaul, promising more prizes yet bigger jackpots to players right across all nine European countries where the lottery is played.

On Saturday 7th May, tickets go on sale for the all new Euromillions Lottery draw and the changes to the lottery are huge! First up, we’re having a second weekly draw, which means you’ll be able to play the Euromillions every Tuesday and Friday night, giving you double the chance to win every week. This means that the jackpots will grow faster and brings the Euromillions in line with other big lottery draws around the world.

Also, more lucky stars have been added, this will lengthen the odds of winning the jackpot, promising even more Mega Millions style jackpots on the game. But if you thought that change reduced your chances of winning a prize you were wrong because the Euromillions organisers are also introducing a brand new prize tier. This thirteenth tier will be for players who only match 2 main balls and will pay £3, bringing the overall odds of winning a prize on the Euromillions Lottery down to 1 in 13.

We’ll bring you more news before the brand new draw starts, but we cannot wait for the changes to the Euromillions Lottery, it’s going to be so exciting!
